Economic Calendar
The Economic Calendar is an important Forex Trading Tool.
Some traders avoid News, others cherish them. All depends on your trading strategy. One thing is for sure, you’ll likely see volatility around these news times. The more bars, the more volatility. USD News typically dominates the market and is the king of volatility. These trading times, along with Fibonacci Replacements can be highly profitable.
If you’re about to execute a trade it wouldn’t hurt to check the Economic Calendar first. If there’s major news you might want to reconsider placing your trade. Or perhaps close your trade early or move up your stops. Same goes for Market Hours by the way.
News volatility is often referred to as “noise”.
It doesn’t hurt to check a couple different economic calendars to make sure nothing is missed. Plus you’ll likely start liking one over the over.
